Registered Nurse RN Intermediate Care
About The Position
At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies, and interventions. Our professionalism, punctuality, attendance, teamwork, and empathy are at the core of how we represent intermediate care and care for our patients, together, we positively impact the lives of all our patients and their families. In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
- BLS (AHA/ARC).
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred.
- Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.
Responsibilities
