About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position is eligible for a $20,000 Sign-on bonus for Qualified Applicants. The ICU is a 10-bed Medical-Surgical ICU, described as a close-knit, high-performing team that feels more like family than coworkers. The role involves caring for a diverse range of medical and surgical patients, sharpening critical thinking skills in an environment that encourages learning, mentorship, and professional growth. Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
  • Registered nursing License (Required)
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • None required experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
  • 1 year of acute care (preferred)
  • Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
