About The Position

Riverside Regional Medical Center is seeking a talented Registered Nurse for its Infection Control team. This role is committed to nursing practice that aligns with the mission to care for others as we care for those we love. The Infection Control team provides outstanding care to patients with excellent patient quality of care outcomes. The selected Registered Nurse will be part of a team that works in a supportive and collaborative culture, providing competent and compassionate care to all patients and their families. The position offers opportunities for growth through a Clinical Ladder, Shared Governance, and membership on facility and system-wide committees. The Riverside Nurse provides competent clinical practice and care coordination, consistently delivering safe, therapeutic, and patient/family-centered care. This role integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet patient and family needs across the continuum, including education. Effective communication and cooperation with others are essential. The role utilizes standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery, and assumes responsibility for self-development and lifelong learning. The Registered Nurse provides direction and guidance to others, serving as a resource, preceptor, and mentor, demonstrating leadership in decision-making and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • BSN required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum 4 years nursing required.
  • Valid VA RN license required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years preferred nursing experience.
  • Infection Prevention experience preferred.
