Join Scripps Green as Registered Nurse - RN in Surgical Acute and feel the pride working for our patient-focused culture. Surgical Acute is a 34-bed, all-private room unit, providing care for a variety of complex post-surgical patients. With a 5:1 nurse to patient ratio, the care team consists of Patient Care Assistants and RNs committed to providing exceptional patient care. As Registered Nurse in Surgical Acute, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under your supervision and works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Position is eligible for New Hire Retention Incentive up to $2 for part time.

Requirements

  • 1 year RN experience.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current AHA BLS
  • One-year inpatient surgical experience.
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
