About The Position
The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing hospital operations and nursing care during assigned shifts, including staffing coordination, patient flow, and bed placement. They serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff and other departments, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure quality patient care. Additionally, they manage hospital-wide situations, assist with data monitoring, and assume administrative responsibilities in the absence of leadership.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- 1 year Nursing experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required as per local affiliate guidelines
