Registered Nurse - RN - GI Lab
About The Position
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago. Loyola University Medical Center GI Lab is a 7-procedure room lab offering a vast variety of procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and feeding tube placement. It is a fast paced environment seeing as many as 60-70 patients per day. We offer both monitored anesthesia care (MAC) as well as moderate sedation provided by our RN's depending on availability. We provide services for both inpatient and outpatient.
Requirements
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
Responsibilities
- Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and moderate sedation.
- Provide services for both inpatient and outpatient.
