About The Position
Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Saville Screening and Prevention Center. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts Monday-Friday. The role primarily involves Intra-Procedure work. The Saville Screening and Prevention Center is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with 4 Procedural Suites and 12 Pre-op/PACU Beds, performing screenings such as EGDs, Colonoscopies, Bronchoscopies, Thoracentesis, Robotic EBUS, and Cytoscopies. The center is characterized by a fast-paced working environment that emphasizes strong teamwork and patient safety, with a mission to provide world-class healthcare.
Requirements
- One year of direct Operating Room (OR), Endoscopy or PACU experience as a Registered Nurse. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
