About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN Float Pool - ICU/Rapid Response Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health So we are Better + Together! This position will float to the Rapid Response Team Float Pool Department. Work with a multi-disciplinary team, work with ill patients to provide life-saving care, and have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Self-Scheduling that helps with work life balance and opportunities for educational and career growth.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
