About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN Float Pool - ICU/Rapid Response Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health So we are Better + Together! This position will float to the Rapid Response Team Float Pool Department. Work with a multi-disciplinary team, work with ill patients to provide life-saving care, and have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. Self-Scheduling that helps with work life balance and opportunities for educational and career growth.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
