About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN Float – Critical Care Full Time Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032. Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Days 7am-7pm including weekends and holidays, no call, self-scheduling – Float to ICU, Emergency, Med Surg, and Telemetry units within the Rockwall hospital. Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire. Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred. Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually. A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
