About The Position
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Fellow to join their team. This position is ideal for experienced nurses looking to change specialties and requires completion of the OR Fellowship upon start. Eligible nurses will qualify for sign-on and relocation bonuses. The role is full-time within an engaging and passionate perioperative team dedicated to providing exemplary healthcare. Requirements
- Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- Basic Life Support with American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
- Attends and participates in all learning sessions assigned for successful completion of the Registered Nurse (RN) Fellowship.
