FLow Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium One Health Family Medicine Mooresville FT
About The Position
This Registered Nurse (RN) Flow position supports a dynamic Family Medicine practice at Atrium Health - One Health Family Medicine & Urgent Care in Mooresville. The role is full-time and involves managing provider in-baskets, performing patient triage, and conducting nurse visits. This position is critical in supporting the clinic team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery, functioning as a clinic flow coordinator to maintain optimal patient throughput. The clinic operations are currently Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with future expansion to 7:00 AM–11:00 PM. The schedule for this position is typically 4 days of 10-hour shifts, with flexibility for 5 days of 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities include thorough in-basket management for providers, triage, nurse visits, completion of forms (including FMLA), and assisting clinical staff as needed.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Prior Ambulatory or Emergency Department experience preferred
- Family Medicine experience preferred
- NC Vaccine for Children's program experience preferred
- Phlebotomy/Lab experience preferred
- Bachelors in nursing preferred
- 1 year of RN experience preferred
