Registered Nurse RN Family Birthing Center
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Family Birthing Center protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure. This role involves collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. The RN assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition at all times. This position operates in a unit that provides 24/7 care within the hospital.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

- Shift Differentials: 3rd shift - $4.00/hour, Weekends - $3.25/hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000-15,000 (New Grads: $5,000, 1+ Years of Experience: $15,000)
- 24 hours of frontloaded Vacation and Holiday time for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience
