Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- 1+ years’ experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting.
- Valid New Jersey RN license.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Emergency Room setting experience.
Responsibilities
- Performing initial patient assessments
- Partnering with physicians to devise, implement, and evaluate plan of care
- Administering medications
- Administering IVs
- Monitoring vital signs
- Providing patients with support and education on diagnosis treatment options and disease process
