Registered Nurse/RN – Emergency Full Time Evenings
About The Position
Texas Health Rockwall is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) II for their Emergency Department. This is a full-time evening position requiring 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts from 10 am to 10 pm, including weekends and holidays. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, responding to basic human needs, and fostering a healing environment. The Emergency Department is characterized by engaged leadership, a supportive team, and advanced equipment. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hire
