Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Job Type: Full-Time | Nights Schedule: 12 hour shifts | 6:45pm-7am Sign-on Bonus - up to $20,000 with 2 or more years of experience. Previous employee's must have been away for 2 or more years to qualify. Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Requirements

current Arizona or compact state RN license
Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License
BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
TNCC required within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
Documents patient care provided.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
