About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency nursing practices, patient assessment, and critical care interventions.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams
Strong communication and clinical skills
Experience with IV administration, ventilators, and telemetry monitoring

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
De-escalation training certification

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation
Perform ongoing patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social needs
Develop and communicate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, including assuming charge nurse responsibilities when required
Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems efficiently
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies
Provide education and support to patients and families
Maintain professional development and stay current with clinical practices
