Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
About The Position
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This role is in an exciting and rewarding nursing career awaits you in our 115-bed, state of the art Emergency Department and accredited Level 1 Trauma Center. Our department delivers care to over 135,000 patients per year and we are the busiest ED in PA.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Must have previous RN Experience
- PA Registered Nurse License
