About The Position

The Emergency Department is a 10-bed, monitored unit within a newly opened community hospital in Cornelius, NC, serving a diverse patient population with a wide range of acuity. Our team is highly collaborative, working closely with physicians across multiple specialties and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. As a growing department, we offer a dynamic environment where team members have the unique opportunity to contribute to building workflows, strengthening team culture, and shaping the future of care delivery within the organization. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of ED experience preferred
