Requirements
- At least 1 year CVOR Experience
- Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
- AM 7A-3:30P (5X8 hours)
- Endoscopic vein harvesting experience is required.
- Active BLS, ABSA or NBSTA or NCCT Certification
- Active ACLS Certification
- Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
- Hep B
- MMR
- Varicella
Responsibilities
- Assists the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient
- Serves as a liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR Manager, and staff
- Ensures all surgical team members perform in a unified effort
- Responsible for the smooth and uneventful intraoperative care
- Accurately anticipates needs of surgical team by timely availability of needed supplies and equipment
- Ensures patient safety through the utilization of accurate assessment, critical thinking, expert evaluation and skillful clinical judgment
