About The Position
Position Overview Department: CVOR Schedule: Full Time Days Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Coordinate surgical services activities and tasks in support of patient care. Coordinate the clinical patient care of surgical services. Serve as a technical or functional resource for staff and perform similar patient care duties. Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinate shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources. Evaluate and oversee orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Oversee utilization and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required. Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
