About The Position

East Jefferson General Hospital is expanding its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) program and seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to join our highly skilled surgical team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting complex cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and heart and lung transplant procedures while helping shape the future of a growing service line. We are looking for experienced OR circulators who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical settings and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. CVOR experience is preferred; however, experienced operating room nurses with a strong surgical foundation and a desire to specialize in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery are encouraged to apply. Position Summary The CVOR Registered Nurse functions as the circulator for a variety of complex surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining a sterile environment, coordinating multidisciplinary communication, and supporting efficient surgical workflow from patient arrival through procedure completion.
