Monitor patient conditions, implement appropriate interventions, and adjust care plans based on changing needs and treatment goals. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, self-care, and discharge instructions. Utilize electronic health record systems to document care accurately and maintain compliance with organizational standards. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure safe patient handoffs. Delegate and supervise nursing support staff appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care delivery.
