About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Coordinator Admissions Marketing position with the Skilled Nursing team located within the Edgewood, Kentucky hospital. This is a part-time role, 20 hours weekly, on the 1st Shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.
- If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
- Thorough knowledge of the CMS admission guidelines for SNF.
- 2 years in aging services with Medicare skilled nursing background.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients in acute care referred to SNF for post-acute care for eligibility in accordance with the Medicare guidelines.
- Actively participates in the discharge review process conducted by Care Coordination.
- RN resource for SNF.
- Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
