About The Position

This role involves program coordination, leadership, and performance improvement within the Carondelet Health Network. The coordinator develops training and education programs to meet future staff needs and foster professional growth. They ensure patient quality outcomes, maintain quality assurance, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position also involves facilitating data collection and analysis, promoting patient and physician satisfaction, and assisting the Director in inter- and intra-hospital communication and collaboration. Additionally, the role supports Stroke Program marketing and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing and/or accredited school of radiology and/or accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
  • 2 years in cardiac catheterization and special procedures.
  • RNs must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
  • ARRT, ACVT or RCIS.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 year management experience.
  • LMRT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate, quality service and/or care for age-related needs of the populations served, according to established performance standards and policies.
  • Maintain required clinical/technical knowledge and skill set to support staff within scope of practice.
  • Participate in the identification of learning needs, coordination of planning and implementation, and compliance monitoring of educational programs for various departments and personnel involved in patient care.
  • Facilitate the planning and implementation of annual community and outreach programs for awareness and prevention promotion.
  • Promote staff education to meet professional and program needs.
  • Respond to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers and provide feedback to managers/staff.
  • Coordinate and maintain appropriate and effective service provision in assigned area through systems knowledge.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Provide direction and delegation in a positive, professional manner and ensure follow-through.
  • Ensure safety is maintained in relation to equipment and environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with and motivate staff, and foster personal and professional growth through delegation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate ability to respond positively to changing circumstances.
  • Serve as a leader in program development.
  • Identify and maintain required knowledge and skill sets to deliver/support quality patient care.
  • Maintain annual requirements for role and program.
  • Ensure program/service compliance with facility, regulatory agency, and corporate standards.
