Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab or EP unit at Paoli Hospital, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, providing care and treatment to patients undergoing procedures. Your responsibilities will include caring for pre-operative, intra-procedure, and post-operative patients. This role offers opportunities for professional development through tuition reimbursement, certifications, advanced degrees, and engagement in hospital and system-wide committees, unit councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year(s) of recent Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for pre-operative, intra-procedure, and post-operative patient population within the Cath Lab or EP unit.
- Participating in the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects.
- Precepting new staff.
- Pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
