About The Position
Under the direction of the Cardiologist, Radiologist, Surgeon, or Director-CVS, this Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing support and nursing processes including patient assessment and intervention during Invasive Interventional Radiology and invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The role involves direct patient care during the pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases. The RN performs and is responsible for a variety of nursing functions within the Cardiovascular Services (CVS) Department, including invasive and non-invasive cardiology, and patient holding areas. Responsibilities
- Provides nursing support and nursing processes including patient assessment and intervention during Invasive Interventional Radiology and invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
- Provides direct patient care during the pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases
- Performs, and is responsible for a variety of nursing functions within the Cardiovascular Services (CVS) Department including invasive and non-invasive cardiology; and patient holding areas
