About The Position

The Cath Lab RN functions independently as a member of a team of Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Interventional Cardiologists. Within three procedure labs, the RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort, including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre-procedure preparation, and administration of conscious sedation. In this critical role, you will be part of a team that values teamwork and prioritizes quality patient care and patient safety above all.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of Acute care, ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.
