Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse working within the Cath Lab unit at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, providing care and treatment to patients undergoing pre/intraprocedure/post-op procedures. This role offers opportunities for professional development, including pursuing certifications or advanced nursing degrees through a Tuition Reimbursement Program, and engagement in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year of recent Cath Lab Nurse experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for pre/intraprocedure/post-op Cath Lab patient population.
- Participating in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees.
- Engaging in Unit Councils.
- Participating in evidence-based research projects.
- Precepting new staff.
- Pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
