Our Cardiac Catheterization Lab is high acuity, specializing in percutaneous interventional procedures of the heart. Procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, rotoblators, and structural heart repairs. BUMC-P has a very robust Structural Heart program and performs procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair and left atrial appendage closures are done in this area. The RN is an integral part of the team and is responsible for many duties in the Cath lab, including circulating, monitoring and documenting the case. Under the direction of the physician, the RN is responsible for procedural sedation and maintaining patient safety during the procedure. Location: Banner University Medical Center Schedule: 2 12 hr shifts. Sat & Sun, 7am-7:30pm. 30% weekend differential Call Schedule: Weekend night call from 5:30pm-7:00am. Ideal Candidate: Must have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience. Orientation and training with be 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, for the first 3 weeks. Must have BLS & ACLS uploaded with application.
