About The Position

This is a PRN position with an anticipated schedule of 1–2 consistent days per week, along with opportunities to pick up additional hours within Cardiology as needed. The primary home base will be St. Luke’s Hospital, with occasional travel to outreach sites based on departmental needs. Requirements

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • As Needed/Per Diem position with anticipated schedule of 1-2 consistent days per week, along with opportunities to pick up additional hours within Cardiology as needed.
  • Typical operating hours are Monday through Friday between 7:00am- 5:00pm.
  • Primary location for the role will be St. Luke’s clinic (2801 W Kinnickinnic River Pkwy.) with occasional travel to outreach sites within 10 miles such as Greenfield, West Allis, New Berlin, Oak Creek and Franklin. based on departmental needs.
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
