About The Position

Cardiac Rehab Nurse Specialist at Lankenau Medical Center? Make an Impact! Under the direction of the Site Coordinator you will provide quality care to all Cardiac Rehab clients Phase II and Phase III (according to the American Assoc. of Cardiovascular Pulmonary Rehab, The College of Sports Medicine and the Clinical Practice Guidelines: U.S. Dept. of Health) within the guidelines and protocols established for the program. The work you do makes a tremendous impact on our patients and the community! Monitoring patients as they exercise, measuring exertion and providing guidance on nutrition, blood pressure, blood sugar, mental health, and providing goals and guidelines. Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of Critical Care or Telemetry RN experience required.
  • RN with PA license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • Graduate form an accredited nursing program with firm knowledge of AACVPR guidelines

  • Inpatient Cardiac Rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care to all Cardiac Rehab clients Phase II and Phase III.
