About The Position

The Cardiac ICU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho, is looking for a new member to join the team! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. As an experienced RN, you’re ready to take your skills to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, where your expertise will make a significant impact. You'll thrive in a specialized 10-bed unit dedicated to cardiac critical care patients, providing advanced, high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment. With this position, you’ll not only tackle some of the area’s most complex medical cardiac and pre-surgical cardiac cases but also have the opportunity to further advance your career as we continue to expand and enhance our critical care and cardiac programs.

Requirements

  • Idaho or multistate RN license
  • Basic Life Support certification

Nice To Haves

  • If you have a multistate license you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire
  • Willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized care with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered approaches in our state-of-the-art intensive care unit.
  • Administer medications and perform essential procedures to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education and support to enhance health and wellness.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
