About The Position

Our Cardiac Angioplasty unit is seeking a dynamic newly licensed or tenured nurse to join our team of nursing excellence. Join Aurora St. Luke's, a 6-TIMES Magnet designated Medical Center. 10S is a 24-bed, fast-paced, high acuity unit that specializes in pre and post interventional cardiology patients. 10S also serves a large volume of chest pain/STEMI patients, heart failure patients, and pre-op open heart surgery/TAVR patients. Requirements

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
