About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Health - Intake. This is a full-time position with a mid-shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 12 PM to 12 AM, including 4 weekend shifts per month. The role involves assessing patients, planning care, documenting findings, and demonstrating leadership by delegating tasks such as leading groups, close observation, and meal supervision. The RN will also oversee staff to ensure adherence to nursing policies and procedures and consistent delivery of exemplary patient care.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license
• Associate's degree required

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration
