About The Position

The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Unit. Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) - Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) designed to assist adults in overcoming the barriers to recovery from persistent behavioral health conditions. This includes assistance with housing, finances, training, employment, addiction and medication management. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
  • BLS
  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment skills; able to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple clinical software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
