Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health Adults-One South
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate and skilled communication, and leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is based in Behavioral Health – Charlotte, Unit 1 South, an 18-bed inpatient adult unit providing acute behavioral health services. The facility offers a broad continuum of inpatient and outpatient services and is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Behavioral health experience and skill in de-escalation.
