This position is 32 hours a week and is a hybrid role, working with both Fairfield and Jewish hospitals. The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Clinical Reviewer (MBSCR) key responsibility is to collect and submit accurate, complete, and timely data to the MBSAQIP Registry. This task is accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and entry of 100% of metabolic and bariatric procedures performed at Mercy Lorain Hospital into the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform in a timely manner. This person will identify process improvement opportunities in the data collection process and will work closely with metabolic & bariatric and general surgery departments to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects that may be identified.
