REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Admissions
About The Position
Looking for a flexible Part-Time or PRN opportunity that works with your schedule? Bring Your Magic Touch to IN-HOME Care — Turn Tasks Into Tender Moments. This role involves new client intake, admissions assessment, and plan of care creation. Responsibilities include personal care, skilled client re-assessments and supervisory visits, medication administration and/or management, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients & families in plain language. Specific skills preferred but not required include IV Infusion / PICC / Midlines, Wound Care & Dressing Changes, Catheter insertion & care, Tube feedings, and Trach and Vent Care. This is a self-scheduling gig with flexible hours.
Requirements
- Live in / near Charlotte
- Active / unrestricted Registered Nurse License (RN) in NC or Compact
- Current CPR card through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Current TB Test or chest xray
- Reliable transportation to get to work and have auto insurance in your name
- 1+ yrs of relevant Nursing experience
- 1+ yr(s) of home health experience
- 2+ yrs of current/previous medication management, wound care or infusion exp.
- Ok traveling in Mecklenburg Co.
Nice To Haves
- Peripheral access experience not required but preferred knowledge
- Surgical, pressure, diabetic, etc. wound care and dressing changes (not required but preferred knowledge)
- NG, G-tube, J-tube feeding experience (not required but preferred knowledge)
- Trach and Vent Care (not required but preferred knowledge)
- PICC/mid-line/port experience (Not a Requirement)
