REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Admissions
About The Position
Looking for a flexible Part-Time or PRN opportunity that works with your schedule? Bring Your Magic Touch to IN-HOME Care — Turn Tasks Into Tender Moments. This role involves new client intake admissions assessment and plan of care creation, personal care and skilled client re-assessments and supervisory visits, medication administration and/or management, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients & families in plain language. Experience with IV Infusion / PICC / Midlines, Wound Care & Dressing Changes, Catheter insertion & care, Tube feedings, and Trach and Vent Care is preferred but not always required.
Requirements
- Live in / near Charlotte.
- Active / unrestricted Registered Nurse License (RN) in NC or Compact.
- Current CPR card through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Current TB Test or chest xray.
- Reliable transportation to get to work and have auto insurance in your name.
- 1+ yrs of relevant Nursing experience.
- 1+ yrs of home health experience.
- 2+ yrs of current/previous medication management, wound care or infusion exp. (PICC/mid-line/port - Not a Requirement).
- Ok traveling in Mecklenburg Co.
Nice To Haves
- Peripheral access experience not required but preferred knowledge for IV Infusion / PICC / Midlines
- Wound Care & Dressing Changes (surgical, pressure, diabetic, etc.) (not required but preferred knowledge)
- Tube feedings (NG, G-tube, J-tube) (not required but preferred knowledge)
- Trach and Vent Care (not required but preferred knowledge)
Responsibilities
