Registered Nurse, RN | Admission/Referral Coordinator
About The Position
Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time (0.75 FTE) Registered Nurse for our Admission/Referral Coordination Center (ARCC). This is your opportunity to work among a team of highly experienced RNs while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin. ARCC RNs facilitate communication between clinicians, RNs, Hospital Operations Managers, medical dispatch, and external facilities to coordinate admissions, referrals, and transfers while working to ensure appropriate and efficient patient placement. This is a “behind-the-scenes” office-based position without direct patient contact.
Requirements
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
- At least 2+ years of nursing experience, preferable in an inpatient setting
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple applications concurrently
- Exceptional communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient setting experience is desired.
