About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery and Wellness. Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together! Work location: Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063. Work hours: Full time; Days - 0645-1915, rotating weekends and holidays required. Requirements

Nursing Diploma required OR Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
BSN preferred
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required
BCLS prior to hire
BCPMHN upon hire required
ACPI (30 days within hire)
One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans for the care of the patient
Interventions as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care
