About The Position
Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together! This full-time Registered Nurse position is located at the Addiction Recovery Center in Mansfield, TX. The role involves delivering care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse will incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiate actions to meet patient information needs, and maintain continuity of patient care across shifts and facilities.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required OR Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
- BCLS prior to hire
- BCPMHN upon hire required
- ACPI (30 days within hire)
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
- RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities

- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
