About The Position

Join our team as we seek a Registered Nurse to work on our Acute Rehab Unit. This is a 20 bed Certified Acute Rehab Facility specializing in Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, Cardiac and complicated Med Surg patients ages 18 and older. The average length of stay for patients is 2-3 weeks offering the opportunity to connect and build relationships with patients on their road to recovery. We seek colleagues with a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing, BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) prior to hire, and an Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire. Requirements

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.
BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.

BSN or ADN

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on the Acute Rehab Unit.
Specialize in the care of patients with Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, Cardiac, and complicated Med Surg diagnoses.
Care for patients aged 18 and older.
Build relationships with patients during their 2-3 week average length of stay.
Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere.
Manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills.
