About The Position
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 115-bed acute hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation. Each patient has a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, therapists and specialists focused on healing patients who have experienced a stroke, traumatic injury or disabling illness. The hospital utilizes up-to-the-minute treatment modalities and cutting-edge technology. This role is for a Full-Time Days RN on the Cardio-Pulmonary/Med Surg unit.
Requirements
- New York State RN License
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

- BSN Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex health conditions on the Cardiac-Pulmonary unit.
- Builds skills in telemetry, medically complex, and ventilated patient populations.
- Trains for certifications including Telemetry, Code Blue, and ACLS.
- Develops skills in Ventilators, Trach care, Peritoneal Dialysis, Blood administration, IV placement, Wound care, and Bi-Paps and C-paps.
- Reads telemetries.
