About The Position

Baystate Health is seeking inpatient Registered Nurses for their Acute Care for Elders (ACE) unit, Daly 6A. This unit promotes 'Aging in Place' and cares for older adult patients with 39 beds, including semi-private rooms and rooms for end-of-life care. The unit offers an ACE room for socialization and activities, pet therapy visits, and engagement activities like cookie decorating and pumpkin painting. It is an engaged unit with a supportive management team, including a geriatrician, physical therapist, case manager, NICHE program coordinator, geriatric resource nurses, and spiritual services.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts
