About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week correctional healthcare contract in Springfield, Vermont. Four openings are available. This assignment requires recent adult healthcare experience. Correctional healthcare experience is preferred. RNs should have strong clinical skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont REQUIRED
Recent experience in adult healthcare REQUIRED
Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations REQUIRED
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities REQUIRED
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings for correctional access REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates at the correctional facility.
Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and manage urgent health issues.
Collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff to ensure safety and compliance with protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations within the correctional environment.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients while maintaining security protocols.
