About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is working varied shifts and hours based on the needs of the department. Resource positions require weekend and holiday rotation. The applicant will be cross trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS Certification required
• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience
• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
• PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
• Hazmat training required
• Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• TNCC certification encouraged

Responsibilities

• Cross trained to other departments within the facility
• All other duties as assigned
