About The Position

Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented recent nursing graduate to join our Nurse Residency Program. This is an excellent opportunity for a new RN to launch their career in a supportive collaborative environment while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced clinical leaders and mentors. As a Graduate RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while participating in a structured residency program designed to support your transition from student nurse to professional RN. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree
