About The Position

This role involves learning and performing peritoneal dialysis, providing safe treatment and monitoring patients for complications. The nurse will manage and support hemodialysis care, ensuring treatments are delivered correctly and patients are closely monitored. Additionally, the role includes teaching and supporting families, educating them on how to care for their family members and recognize signs that need medical attention. The nurse will also provide medical nursing care to both renal and non-renal patients, using clinical skills to support a wide range of patient needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
