About The Position
The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN/RPN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care. The RN/RPN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN/RPN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) OR Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing OR Psychiatric Nursing diploma OR Nursing diploma
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered or eligible with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
